01Overview
Grounded 2 is an open-world survival adventure where players are once again shrunk to the size of an ant, this time exploring the much larger Brookhollow Park. Play alone or in co-op while gathering resources, crafting weapons and armor, building bases, and fighting insects and other creatures. Character archetypes provide different abilities that support varied approaches to survival and combat. The park contains manmade spaces reclaimed by nature, hidden locations, environmental hazards, and an ongoing mystery connected to the teens’ return to their miniature state. Buggies are a major addition, allowing players to hatch, raise, and ride insect companions across the park. They can assist in combat, help gather resources, and provide faster ways to explore, with different Buggy types offering their own capabilities. Shared Worlds allow friends to continue building, exploring, and progressing together even when the original host is unavailable. Grounded 2 retains the first game’s survival loop while expanding traversal, character development, cooperative play, and the scale of its environments. The game is currently available through Early Access and Game Preview.
