01Overview
Lords of the Fallen II is a dark fantasy action RPG and standalone sequel to Lords of the Fallen, set in a kingdom being consumed by the growing influence of Umbral. Players explore the interconnected world of Axiom while using the Umbral Lamp to cross into the realm of the dead, where different paths, enemies, and treasures can be found. Combat is faster and more responsive than in its predecessor, combining melee weapons, ranged attacks, sorcery, dodging, blocking, and executions. Expanded weapon classes, combat abilities, and build options allow players to develop different approaches to difficult enemies and bosses. Umbral plays a larger role in exploration, with its appearance and dangers changing between different regions of the world. Areas include Thorngar, humanity’s final refuge, and Yisugen, a region influenced by Asian mythology and home to new enemy factions and bosses. The full campaign supports shared-progression co-op, allowing two players to advance through the story together rather than progressing only in the host’s world.
