Marvel Snap is a free-to-play digital collectible card game featuring heroes and villains from across the Marvel universe. Players build 12-card decks and compete in fast one-on-one matches played across three locations, each with its own effect. Cards have an Energy cost and Power value, with available Energy generally increasing each turn. Players place cards at locations over six turns, and the player with the most Power at two of the three locations wins. Because locations are revealed during the match, players must adapt their plans as new rules and restrictions appear. The Snap mechanic lets either player raise the number of Cosmic Cubes at stake before a match ends. Players can Snap when confident in their position or retreat to limit their losses, adding a risk-management element to each game. Cards feature individual abilities that support strategies built around effects such as destroying, discarding, moving, or powering up other cards. Ranked play uses earned Cubes for progression, while Conquest uses multi-round Battle Mode matches where opponents repeatedly face each other with the same decks until one player runs out of health.
