01Overview

Marvel’s Spider-Man is an open-world action-adventure game starring an experienced Peter Parker who has already spent eight years fighting crime in New York City. Players move across Manhattan through web-swinging, wall-running, parkour, and web zips while balancing Peter’s personal life with his responsibilities as Spider-Man. Combat combines acrobatic attacks, dodges, web-based abilities, gadgets, and environmental interactions, allowing enemies to be launched into the air, webbed to surfaces, or struck with nearby objects. The original story introduces reimagined versions of familiar Marvel characters while following Peter as new threats emerge across the city. Outside story missions, players can freely explore Marvel’s New York and respond to crimes, complete challenges, locate collectibles, and take on optional activities scattered across different districts. Experience earned through missions and exploration unlocks new skills, while gadgets can be upgraded to provide additional options during combat and stealth encounters. Different Spider-Man suits can also be unlocked, with many providing Suit Powers that can be equipped independently of the costume itself. Traversal remains central throughout the game, letting players seamlessly combine swinging, wall-running, web zips, and point launches while moving between objectives.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a third-person action-adventure game and a standalone continuation of Marvel's Spider-Man (2018). Set in an open-world version of New York City during winter, the game follows Miles Morales as he takes on the role of Spider-Man while Peter Parker is abroad. Gameplay focuses on traversal, combat, and completing missions across the city. Miles has unique abilities distinct from Peter, including bio-electric "Venom" attacks and temporary invisibility. The game features unlockable suits, gadgets, and a skill tree progression system.
