Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is a remake of the 2004 stealth-action game Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, developed for modern hardware with cutting-edge graphics and 3D audio that bring its dense jungle environments to life. The game preserves the original story, characters and voice performances while rebuilding the experience with updated visuals, controls and presentation. Set during the Cold War, the story follows Naked Snake on a covert mission deep inside Soviet territory. Players must infiltrate hostile areas, avoid enemy patrols and survive dangerous environments using stealth, camouflage and close-quarters combat. Snake can change camouflage and face paint to blend into different surroundings, while hunting wildlife and managing injuries add a survival element to missions. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater retains the tactical espionage and cinematic storytelling of the original while modernising how the jungle looks and feels. The remake also includes additional modes, including the online multiplayer mode FOX HUNT, which builds competitive hide-and-seek gameplay around the series' familiar stealth and survival mechanics.
