Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back Officially Revealed for 2027
Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back has officially been revealed, giving the previously announced new Lollipop Chainsaw project its official title and a 2027 release window.
Dragami Games confirmed the new entry for PS5, which is currently the only announced platform. Juliet Starling returns as the protagonist, while the game is already playable at Tokyo Game Show 2026 following its full reveal this week.
Juliet returns to a rebuilt San Romero

Back2Back takes Juliet back to San Romero, although the setting has changed substantially since the original game. The rebuilt city is now known as Jaredwood, a large metropolis centered around the film industry.
A mysterious director traps Juliet inside his zombie movie, forcing her to fight alongside her allies while uncovering what is behind the chaos. The story also introduces a new threat called the Corrupted Realm zombies. Juliet also returns with a new outfit and what Dragami Games describes as increased power, although the developer has not yet detailed what that means mechanically.
Back2Back is making its playable debut at Tokyo Game Show

The reveal follows Dragami Games and Nada Holdings' earlier announcement that an unnamed new Lollipop Chainsaw game would make its first playable appearance at Tokyo Game Show 2026. At that stage, the companies had not revealed the Back2Back title or confirmed a platform.
The project is now listed as Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back in the Sega and Atlus TGS lineup, with attendees able to try a demo during the event. The game also has dedicated stage programming as part of the show's Lollipop Chainsaw presentations.
Gameplay from the TGS build has also now been shown publicly, providing the first extended look at the new game after the project was previously known mainly through its announcement and upcoming playable showcase.
