Stellar Blade Reveals All Four Free Bayonetta Outfits
Eve's complete Bayonetta crossover wardrobe has now been shown, with Black Tresses joining three outfits inspired by the series. All four costumes will be released as a free update.
Stellar Blade has revealed all four outfits from its upcoming Bayonetta collaboration, completing the free cosmetic set with a new original design called Black Tresses.
Shift Up had already confirmed earlier in September that four Bayonetta-themed outfits were coming to Stellar Blade, but initially showed only three of them. The final costume was revealed during the game's Tokyo Game Show 2026 presentation alongside a new vignette showing the complete crossover collection in-game.
Black Tresses completes the Bayonetta collection
The collaboration gives Eve four outfits named Bayonetta, Nun, Jeanne, and Black Tresses. The Bayonetta, Nun, and Jeanne outfits are based on looks from the Bayonetta series, while Black Tresses takes a different approach. Shift Up presents the fourth costume as an original design by Stellar Blade director Kim Hyung Tae rather than a recreation of an existing outfit.
Shift Up describes Black Tresses as a tribute to Bayonetta reimagined through Kim's own style. The TGS presentation also gave players their first complete look at all four designs after the fourth costume had been deliberately kept hidden from the original crossover announcement.
The new collaboration vignette shows all four outfits in-game. Shift Up has so far announced the crossover as a free cosmetic update, with no additional gameplay content confirmed.
PS5 and PC players also get the outfits for free
The four costumes are not exclusive to the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 version.
Shift Up previously confirmed that the entire Bayonetta outfit collection will be released as a free update for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC. Existing PS5 and PC owners therefore do not need to buy the Switch 2 release to access the crossover.
The update arrives alongside Stellar Blade Complete Edition on Switch 2 on November 6, 12:00 a.m. KST/JST, which is November 5 at 7:00 a.m. PT and 3:00 p.m. GMT.
Shift Up has also released a free Switch 2 demo ahead of the full version, while its latest TGS showcase used the upcoming port to give the Bayonetta collaboration another in-game showing.
