Warcraft 3 Reforged's New Campaign Hides Two Secret Levels

September 15, 2026·3 min read

Blizzard has hidden two secret bonus levels inside Warcraft III: Reforged - Forsaken Kingdom, and at the time their existence was revealed, players had yet to publicly uncover either one.

Warcraft senior manager Brad Chan confirmed the secrets in an interview following the campaign's launch, but offered almost no help with finding them. Players apparently need to complete several undisclosed steps before the levels can be accessed, leaving the community to work out the requirements for itself.

Chan told Kotaku that Forsaken Kingdom contains two hidden levels and said the development team had been watching to see whether players would discover them naturally.

Nearly two days after release, Blizzard had not seen anyone publicly demonstrate that they had unlocked either one. Chan encouraged players to explore the campaign thoroughly, but stopped short of revealing where the search should begin.

The requirements apparently involve completing multiple actions rather than simply finding a hidden entrance. Blizzard has not said which missions contain those steps, whether they need to be completed in a particular order, or what awaits players after successfully unlocking the bonus content.

Even the subjects of the two missions remain secret. Their settings, objectives, playable characters, and rewards have not been disclosed, giving players little more than confirmation that something is there to find.

The two levels belong specifically to the paid Forsaken Kingdom campaign rather than the free Warcraft III: Reforged update released alongside it.

Forsaken Kingdom is Blizzard's first new Warcraft III campaign in more than two decades. Its story follows the Forsaken after the fall of Lordaeron as they break away from the Scourge, establish themselves beneath their former kingdom, and move toward the founding of the Undercity.

Blizzard says the campaign includes a prologue and three chapters. It also introduces the Forsaken Paladin and connects events in Warcraft III with the opening period of the newly announced World of Warcraft: Forever.

The main Forsaken Kingdom campaign uses a soft-open RPG structure inspired by The Frozen Throne's Rexxar campaign, giving players more freedom to explore than a traditional linear mission sequence.

That makes the existence of hidden levels a particularly fitting addition. Players know there are two complete secrets waiting somewhere inside the campaign, but Blizzard is leaving the actual method of reaching them for the community to solve.

Patch 3.0 arrived alongside the campaign

Forsaken Kingdom launched at the same time as Warcraft III: Reforged patch 3.0, but buying the new campaign is separate from receiving the broader update.

Existing owners received the Definitive Edition improvements at no additional cost, including a new graphics mode that rebuilds hundreds of units and refreshes environments, lighting, effects, and structures. The update also expands other parts of Reforged, while Forsaken Kingdom remains the paid addition containing the new story.

Blizzard has revealed far more about those visible additions than it has about the campaign's two secrets. For now, Chan's confirmation is effectively the only clue players have: both levels exist, several steps are needed to reach them, and Blizzard expects the community to work out the rest.
