01Overview
Pokémon Violet is an open-world role-playing game set in the Paldea region, a vast land filled with lakes, mountains, towns, cities, and wilderness. Players catch, battle, and train Pokémon while exploring at their own pace, starting with Sprigatito, Fuecoco, or Quaxly as their first partner. The adventure centers on a Treasure Hunt assigned through Uva Academy and unfolds across three main story paths: Victory Road, Starfall Street, and Path of Legends. These lead to Gym challenges, battles against Team Star, and encounters with powerful Titan Pokémon. Players travel across Paldea with the Legendary Pokémon Miraidon, whose different forms allow it to move across land, water, and eventually through the air. Pokémon Violet also introduces the Terastal phenomenon, which lets a Pokémon change to its Tera Type during battle and can strengthen matching moves. The Let’s Go feature allows a lead Pokémon to explore nearby areas, collect items, and battle wild Pokémon automatically. Local and online multiplayer supports up to four players exploring together, trading, battling, and taking part in Tera Raid Battles.

In this adventure, you'll be transferred from Naranja Academy to its sister school, Blueberry Academy. Unlike Naranja Academy, with its long and rich history, this school was only recently established and has a focus on teaching Pokémon battles. What's unique about Blueberry Academy is that a large part of it is actually in the sea! Attend lessons, mingle with the local students and experience a new school life that's anything but ordinary. - You need to have completed the ending of Pokémon Scarlet and Part 1: The Teal Mask to access the main story of Part 2: The Indigo Disk.

In this year's annual school trip, students from various schools - including you! - will be sent to the land of Kitakami, where people live at the feet of tall, towering mountains and the tranquil landscape is teeming with nature unfamiliar to Paldea, flourishing among rice paddies and apple orchards. At this time of year, the villages hold festivals, bustling with all kinds of stalls and stands. Make new friends and meet new Pokémon as you unravel the old legends of Kitakami. - You need to have begun the Treasure Hunt in Pokémon Scarlet to access the main story of Part 1: The Teal Mask. It takes approximately 3 hours of play to unlock the Treasure Hunt, depending on the player.
