PUBG: Battlegrounds is a free-to-play battle royale shooter that pits up to 100 players against each other in a fight for survival. Players parachute onto a large map, search buildings and other locations for weapons, armor, healing items, and equipment, then move toward the safe area as the Blue Zone steadily closes around the battlefield. Matches can be played solo or in teams, and the goal is simple: survive long enough to become the last player or squad standing. Gunplay emphasizes recoil control, positioning, sound, and careful use of limited resources, while vehicles provide faster movement across the game’s large maps. Beyond standard Battle Royale, PUBG includes Ranked and Casual options, along with Arcade modes such as Team Deathmatch and Intense Battle Royale. Different maps vary in size, terrain, loot, vehicles, and environmental features, so routes and combat conditions change from match to match. Players can also use throwable weapons, scopes, attachments, and tactical equipment to adapt their loadouts during a round. Training modes provide space to practice shooting, movement, and other core systems before entering live matches.
