Rayman Legends Retold is a reimagining of the 2013 platformer, sending Rayman and his friends across the Glade of Dreams to stop a new villain spreading corruption throughout its realms. Players run, jump, glide and punch through fast-paced side-scrolling stages filled with enemies, collectibles, environmental hazards and hidden Teensies. The adventure can be played solo or in local co-op with up to four players, with Rayman, Globox, Barbara, Grand Minimus and Murphy among the playable characters. Musical stages also return, timing jumps, attacks and obstacles to the rhythm of the soundtrack. The game combines redesigned versions of familiar levels with new content, including a sixth realm, four additional musical stages, dragon-riding sequences and the Cave of Trials. Kung Foot returns with revised controls, power-ups and customizable match rules for local competitive play. Rayman Legends Retold also includes Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition, which updates the earlier platformer with improved visuals, additional collectibles, new rewards and quality-of-life changes. Together, the package expands the original adventure while retaining its cooperative platforming and collectible-focused level design.
