01Overview
Satisfactory is a first-person factory-building game developed by Coffee Stain Studios. You play as a FICSIT Pioneer sent to an alien planet to gather resources and construct increasingly complex production lines for the company's Project Assembly. Progression revolves around automating production. Miners extract raw materials, conveyor belts move them between machines and factories turn them into components needed for new technologies and milestones. As production grows, you unlock pipelines, trains, trucks, drones and more advanced power systems to keep everything running efficiently. The game takes place in a large handcrafted open world filled with different biomes, creatures and resource nodes. Exploration provides new materials and upgrade opportunities, while the factory itself can expand from a simple production line into a huge automated network. Satisfactory also supports cooperative multiplayer.
