The Blood of Dawnwalker is an open-world dark fantasy action RPG set in 14th-century Europe during a period of war, plague and growing supernatural unrest. Players control Coen, a young man transformed into a Dawnwalker who is human by day and vampire by night. His goal is to save his family while exploring the valley of Vale Sangora, taking on quests, uncovering secrets and deciding which people or factions to help. Time advances when certain quests are completed, so players cannot see every event in a single playthrough, and choices or missed opportunities can change how the story develops. Day and night create different approaches to exploration and combat. As a human, Coen fights with a sword and magic, while his vampire form gives him supernatural powers and movement abilities. Players can explore forests, settlements, ruins, swamps and mountains, find allies, investigate ancient locations and choose when to prepare or move directly toward an objective. The game’s quest structure, time system and changing abilities are designed around completing the story in different ways depending on the player’s priorities.
