01Overview

Warframe is a free-to-play third-person action game set across the Origin System, where players control the Tenno, ancient warriors who fight using biomechanical suits called Warframes. Missions send players against factions including the Grineer, Corpus and Infested across planets, ships and other locations, combining shooting, melee combat and fast parkour movement. Each Warframe has its own abilities, while players can equip primary, secondary and melee weapons to build different loadouts. Missions can be completed alone or in squads, with objectives ranging from eliminating enemies and defending targets to rescue, survival and assassination missions. Progression centers on collecting and crafting Warframes, weapons and equipment, then improving them with Mods that change their statistics and abilities. The Star Chart opens additional planets, missions and story quests as players advance, while larger open-world areas add activities such as bounties, exploration, fishing and resource gathering. Players can also join Clans, build equipment in their Orbiter and take part in cooperative missions across supported platforms through Cross Platform Play.
