Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember is a dark fantasy action RPG from Team NINJA set during the late Eastern Han period, as warlords fight for supremacy and the heroes of the Three Kingdoms begin to emerge. Players control a new nameless warrior who crosses battlefields overrun by powerful enemies and monstrous demons. The sequel retains the series’ focus on Chinese martial arts, combining offensive and defensive techniques in fast-paced combat. Deflecting enemy attacks remains central, allowing the warrior to build and manage Spirit before using it to unleash stronger attacks and fatal blows against difficult enemies and bosses. The story is separate from Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty but takes place in the same dark interpretation of the Three Kingdoms, with familiar historical figures appearing alongside the new protagonist. Battles take place across larger environments as the warrior fights alongside renowned heroes and confronts both human warlords and supernatural creatures. Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember supports a single-player campaign as well as online cooperative play for up to three players, allowing companions to tackle its demon-infested battlefields together.
