01Overview
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a life simulation game developed by Nintendo. Players move to a deserted island and gradually transform it into a thriving community by gathering resources, building homes and attracting new residents. Daily activities include fishing, catching insects, digging for fossils, crafting furniture and decorating both the island and individual homes. As the settlement grows, new shops, facilities and customization options become available. The game runs in real time, with weather, seasons and events changing throughout the year. Players can reshape parts of the island, design paths and outdoor spaces, and visit other players through online or local multiplayer. Progress is relaxed and open-ended, with the focus on collecting, decorating and creating a personalized island.
