Battlefield 2

Battlefield 2 is a multiplayer-focused first-person shooter developed by DICE and set in a modern military conflict between the United States, China and the fictional Middle East Coalition. Matches support large teams fighting across expansive maps with infantry, armored vehicles, helicopters and jets. Players choose from several soldier classes, each designed for a different battlefield role, including assault, support, medic and anti-tank combat. Squads allow players to coordinate around squad leaders, while commanders can provide support through abilities such as UAV scans, artillery strikes and supply drops. Progression is tied to a persistent ranking system that rewards experience with new ranks and weapon unlocks. Conquest remains the core mode, with teams capturing control points and reducing the enemy’s available reinforcements.
