Battlefield 2142

Battlefield 2142 is a multiplayer-focused first-person shooter developed by DICE and set during a future ice age that has left much of Earth uninhabitable. Players fight for either the European Union or Pan Asian Coalition as both factions compete for the remaining habitable land. Combat combines infantry classes with futuristic military vehicles, including tanks, gunships and large battle walkers. Players earn unlocks for weapons, gadgets and abilities as they gain experience. Alongside traditional Conquest matches, Battlefield 2142 introduced Titan mode. Teams capture missile silos to bring down the shields of an enemy airborne warship, then board it to destroy its reactor from the inside. The mix of large-scale battles, science-fiction technology and the Titan mode gives the game a distinct identity within the Battlefield series.
