LittleBigPlanet

LittleBigPlanet is a side-scrolling platform game built around playing, creating and sharing user-made content. Players control Sackboy as they travel through a series of imaginative worlds made from materials such as cardboard, fabric, wood and metal. Levels combine platforming, physics-based puzzles and collectible items, with Sackboy able to run, jump, grab objects and interact with moving parts in the environment. The main story can be played alone or cooperatively, with some areas and collectibles requiring multiple players to work together. A central part of LittleBigPlanet is its level creation system, which lets players build their own stages using the same types of objects, materials, mechanisms and tools found throughout the game. Created levels can include platforms, hazards, vehicles, puzzles and custom decorations, while collected stickers, costumes and objects can be used to personalize both Sackboy and player-made creations. Completed stages were originally shareable online through the game’s community features, allowing players to browse, rate and play levels created by other users around the world.
