01Overview
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is a story-driven action RPG set in 15th-century medieval Bohemia. Players once again take the role of Henry of Skalitz, whose journey continues shortly after the events of the first game as he travels with Sir Hans Capon and becomes drawn deeper into the conflict surrounding King Sigismund. The open world spans regions around Trosky Castle and the city of Kuttenberg, with villages, forests, castles, roads, and settlements to explore. Quests can often be approached through combat, stealth, persuasion, bribery, theft, or other solutions, with Henry’s reputation and previous actions influencing how characters respond to him. Character development remains based largely on practice, with skills improving as Henry uses them. Combat includes swords, axes, maces, bows, crossbows, and early firearms, alongside blocking, dodging, and directional attacks. Players also manage hunger, fatigue, injuries, clothing, equipment condition, and personal hygiene. Alchemy, blacksmithing, horse riding, gambling, hunting, and other activities provide additional ways to develop Henry outside the main story, while dialogue choices and quest decisions can affect relationships and later events.
