Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is an action-adventure game developed by Insomniac Games that continues the stories of Peter Parker and Miles Morales. Players can switch between the two Spider-Men while exploring an expanded Marvel’s New York that includes Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. Peter gains powerful symbiote abilities, while Miles uses evolved bio-electric Venom powers alongside his established skills. Both characters combine web-swinging, acrobatic combat, gadgets, stealth, and new Web Wings for faster traversal across the city. Their story brings them into conflict with threats including Kraven the Hunter and Venom. Open-world activities are divided between Peter, Miles, and missions that can be completed by either hero, with each Spider-Man receiving separate and shared skill upgrades. Combat allows players to launch enemies, dodge and parry attacks, use abilities and gadgets, and perform finishers as encounters become more demanding. Web Wings work alongside traditional swinging and can use wind tunnels to maintain speed over longer distances. The game also includes side missions, crimes, collectibles, suits, and optional activities spread throughout the expanded city. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is available on both PlayStation 5 and PC.
