Kingdom III: Rising Realms Revealed With New Greed King and Expanded Strategy

Kingdom is returning with a bigger strategic focus in Kingdom III: Rising Realms, sending the Monarch across a shattered world of procedurally generated islands while a new Greed King spreads corruption across the realm.

The sequel adds equipment choices before expeditions, upgradeable Elite units, mythical artifacts, and powers tied to the Crown of Creation. Kingdom III: Rising Realms is coming to PC via Steam, PS5, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S in 2027, with no exact release date announced.

Rising Realms begins after the kingdom has fallen apart, leaving buildings destroyed, land barren, and its people scattered. Players once again control the Monarch, now carrying the Crown of Creation and its ability to call on powers tied to the world's legends.

Rebuilding takes the Monarch across unexplored islands containing ancient monuments, mythical creatures, and artifacts that can help defend restored territory. The islands are procedurally generated, giving exploration a larger role alongside the series' familiar cycle of gathering resources, recruiting subjects, building defenses, and surviving attacks after nightfall.

The sequel can also be played solo or with a friend, continuing the cooperative side of the series.

Fury Studios is expanding the strategy around expeditions. Players can choose equipment before setting sail, allowing them to prepare for the island they plan to explore rather than beginning every journey with the same setup.

The sequel also introduces Elites, specialist units that can be upgraded and provide new abilities for the kingdom. Subjects, Elites, discovered artifacts, and equipment will all contribute to how players approach rebuilding and defending each realm.

The Greed King spreads corruption across the world and leads the attacks against the Monarch's rebuilt territories.
