Manor Lords Passes 4 Million Sales as Major Update 8 Expands Livestock and Construction

Manor Lords has passed four million copies sold across all stores as Slavic Magic releases Major Update 8 on the game's main branch.

Publisher Hooded Horse confirmed the sales milestone alongside the update, which adds cows and calves, new food and drink production, advanced construction, seasonal workforce controls, and the Wide Valley map.

Cows can now be imported and kept in pastures, providing milk while also serving as a source of beef and hides. Calves have also been added through the expanded livestock and breeding system.

Oats support the new system. They can be eaten directly or turned into Animal Feed at the Livestock Farm, while milk and salt can be used by the new Cheesemonger artisan to produce cheese.

Breweries have more options as well. Apples can now be turned into cider and honey into mead, expanding the drinks available alongside ale.

Major Update 8 introduces the Construction Yard, which stores building materials and distributes them to construction sites using workers and handcarts. Properly maintaining the yard also increases the construction speed of its assigned workers.

Some buildings are now classed as Advanced Structures and require professional builders from the Construction Yard to finish them. Other families can still help transport materials and prepare the site, but skilled workers are needed to complete the project.

Oxen assigned to the yard can use the new Ox Cart to move timber in larger quantities, while the Large Stone Church has been added as another building upgrade.

The update also adds Wide Valley, a new river map for players to build across, along with a redesigned main HUD and changes to artisan production.

Seasonal Assignment can automatically change which families work at individual buildings depending on the season. This reduces the need to manually move workers between jobs as farming, livestock, and other seasonal production changes throughout the year.

Slavic Magic is already working on the next update, which is planned for late September and will introduce a new group of Perks.
