Palworld has only been out for a month, but Pocketpair is already making the endgame easier. Update 1.0.3 is now live and makes World Tree Holy Water easier to collect. It also lowers the costs for Jetragon, crude oil production, and several late-game facilities.
The patch is focused on smoothing out version 1.0 rather than adding new content. Getting Holy Water had become difficult once players reached the World Tree. Oil production and some technology upgrades also took more time than they should.

World Tree Holy Water is now far easier to carry and farm. Its weight has dropped from 1 to 0.1, and its effect now lasts longer. Players can also get it from World Tree expeditions, fishing in the area, and the Large Fishing Pond.
Holy Water protects World Tree materials during gathering runs. Running out can also slow down several late-game tasks at once. Late-game farming had already turned it into one of version 1.0's more stubborn resource walls.
Ancient Armor is now easier to craft, and trees give twice as much Fiber. Neither change is as big as the Holy Water update, but both make things easier. Version 1.0 added plenty to do, and the new balance changes make some of the work easier.

Jetragon-related technologies now unlock at level 70 instead of 79, and the Pal Gear needed to ride Jetragon takes fewer materials. One of Palworld's most popular mounts can now be used earlier. Players no longer have to wait until they are close to the new level cap.
It now unlocks at level 23 instead of 66, costs one Ancient Technology Point rather than four, and requires less work. Players who enjoy large bases can start experimenting with water construction much earlier in a save.
Crude Oil Extractors and High-Pressure Crude Oil Extractors are cheaper to build and produce oil faster. A base mission that once required the standard extractor now accepts the High-Pressure version. This saves players from rebuilding it after upgrading.
A Sunreach mission could break if players removed the barrier before starting it. Some console players could also lose their cursor on the world selection screen. Crashes tied to World Tree Field Bosses and the Global Palbox have also been addressed.
Co-op gets another round of fixes after the 1.0 launch. Lighting should now work correctly after some cutscenes. Stuttering during the World Tree entry scene has also been fixed. Dedicated servers now prevent accidental Fast Travel during Tower Boss fights. Pals also no longer vibrate rapidly on client screens.
Summoned Pals could sometimes stop fighting or fail to return after getting separated from the player. This could leave them useless when they were needed most. Pocketpair has fixed these issues. Smaller fixes also improve item searches, Ranch production, fullscreen settings, and reward tables.
