Pragmata Is Getting Mega Man and Roll Skins

Capcom is turning one of its earlier Pragmata jokes into a real crossover. Hugh and Diana are getting new outfits inspired by Mega Man, with Hugh dressed as Mega Man and Diana wearing Roll's outfit.

The collaboration was revealed at the end of the new Mega Man: Dual Override trailer shown during Gamescom Opening Night Live. Capcom says the skins are coming to Pragmata soon, although an exact release date has not been announced.

The crossover gives both Pragmata protagonists costumes based on two of the most recognizable characters from the Mega Man series. Hugh gets Mega Man's blue armor and helmet, while Diana's new look is based on Roll.

Capcom has only announced the outfits so far and has not detailed any additional crossover content.

The reveal also came through Mega Man: Dual Override, Capcom's next mainline Mega Man game. The new Gamescom trailer showed more of its 2D action while confirming Proto Man as a second playable hero, alongside the Override system, Custom Chips, and a new Robot Master called Twinkle Girl.

The new outfit follows an April Fools' joke from earlier this year. Before Pragmata launched, Capcom showed Hugh dressed as Mega Man, playing into fan theories that tried to connect the new sci-fi game with the Mega Man series.

Those theories had been circulating because of Diana's design, the robotic enemies, and Pragmata's futuristic setting. Capcom had previously made clear that the two games were unrelated, with Pragmata developed as a new IP.

The joke is now becoming an actual cosmetic crossover. Capcom has not yet explained how players will obtain the Mega Man and Roll outfits or whether they will be free or paid when they arrive.
