VALORANT Neo Frontier 2.0 Bundle: Skins, Price, and Release Date

Neo Frontier is riding back into VALORANT, but Riot has traded the size of the original collection for three carefully chosen additions. Neo Frontier 2.0 reaches the Featured Store on July 30 with a Vandal, a Shorty, and a Lasso melee, giving one of the game's most popular skin lines the rifle players have requested for years.

The full bundle costs 6,700 VP and includes two player cards and a spray alongside the weapon skins. Each design can move from an old Western look into the polished science-fiction style that made the first collection stand out, though the unusual Lasso may be the item that pulls most players toward the complete set.

The Vandal is the best headline addition because the original collection gave its main rifle slot to the Phantom. Riot has kept the heavy wooden body, metal parts, and frontier styling for the basic version, while upgrades change it into a better futuristic weapon with new visual effects, sounds, animations, and the returning finisher.

Reloading gives the rifle more personality than a normal weapon skin, with the magazine spinning before it is placed back into the gun. The upgraded design also supports several colour options, while players who prefer the quieter cowboy look can stay with the earlier level instead of covering the weapon in bright effects.

The Shorty uses the same idea on a much smaller weapon, which suits the collection better than another ordinary rifle choice. Its draw and reload animations lean into quick gunslinger movements, helping a sidearm that usually appears for only a few seconds feel like a proper part of the set rather than a cheaper extra.

Riot could have returned with another axe or large knife, but the Lasso gives Neo Frontier 2.0 something players have not already seen several times. The rope swings through attacks, snaps forward during its animations, and can be spun during the inspect, making it look more like a gunslinger's tool than a normal melee weapon.

Its design also changes with the selected style, allowing the basic rope to move toward the same futuristic finish used by the guns. That transformation keeps the collection's old-versus-new theme clear without making every item follow the exact same shape, animation, or movement.

The Lasso is priced at 4,350 VP when purchased alone, while the Vandal and Shorty cost 2,175 VP each. Anyone interested in both a gun and the melee will therefore find the 6,700 VP package much easier to justify, especially with the cards and spray included in the bundle price.

Riot is also releasing a larger Run It Back: Neo Frontier bundle for players who missed the original collection. It includes the Sheriff, Marshal, Phantom, Vandal, Shorty, and Lasso, bringing the strongest parts of both releases together in one package priced at 9,310 VP.

The Odin and original Axe are not included in that return bundle, so it should not be mistaken for a complete collection of every Neo Frontier skin. Even with those gaps, it gives newer players the Sheriff and Marshal that helped make the first release popular without waiting for each weapon to appear separately in the daily store.

Players mainly interested in the Vandal may still be better off buying it alone, especially if they rarely use the Shorty or melee skins. Anyone drawn to the Lasso gets a stronger deal from the full 2.0 bundle, while the larger Run It Back package makes the most sense for accounts that own none of the earlier weapons.
