Batman: Arkham Knight is an open-world action-adventure game developed by Rocksteady Studios and the final main entry in the Arkham trilogy. The story follows Batman as Scarecrow returns to Gotham with a plan to destroy him, supported by the mysterious Arkham Knight and an army occupying the city. Gameplay combines free-flow combat, stealth encounters, detective work and open-world exploration. Batman can use gadgets, upgrades and environmental takedowns to approach enemies in different ways. The biggest addition is the Batmobile, which can be summoned throughout Gotham for high-speed travel, pursuit sequences and vehicle combat. The story also focuses heavily on Batman’s psychological state and strained relationships, giving the final chapter a darker and more personal tone.
