01Overview
Diablo III is an action RPG developed by Blizzard Entertainment and the third main entry in the Diablo series. Players choose from several character classes and fight through hordes of demons, undead and other monsters while pursuing the forces threatening the world of Sanctuary. Combat is fast and loot-driven, with enemies dropping weapons, armor and legendary items that support different character builds. Each class has its own abilities and progression options, encouraging players to experiment with different combinations of skills and equipment. The campaign spans several acts and can be played solo or cooperatively. Later updates and the Reaper of Souls expansion added Adventure Mode, Bounties, Nephalem Rifts and additional endgame progression, giving players more ways to continue developing their characters after completing the main story.
