01Overview
Monster Hunter: World is an action RPG developed by Capcom and set in the New World, a vast ecosystem filled with large and dangerous creatures. Players take the role of a hunter tasked with tracking and defeating monsters across forests, deserts, swamps and other environments. Combat revolves around choosing from several distinct weapon types, each with its own moveset and playstyle. Materials carved from defeated monsters are used to craft stronger weapons and armor, allowing players to prepare for increasingly difficult hunts. The environments are highly interactive, with monsters fighting each other, traps hidden in the terrain and wildlife that can influence encounters. Hunts can be tackled solo or cooperatively with up to four players.
