Black Flag Resynced 1.0.7 Adds Hideable Pistols and Dog

Ubisoft is releasing Title Update 1.0.7 for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced on September 1, bringing new customization options, a new animal encounter in the Caribbean, and a wider set of gameplay and stability fixes.

New Game+ was announced in July but is not included in Update 1.0.7.

Players will be able to hide Edward's pistols through the equipment menu, expanding the visibility options already available for his blowpipe.

Ubisoft is also adding a separate setting for trinket perk effects, allowing players to disable their visual glow without changing Edward's equipped gear.

Update 1.0.7 also adds a new animal encounter somewhere in the Caribbean.

Ubisoft says players can find a dog in need of rescue and give it a pet after helping it. The animal may later appear at Edward's Hideout, adding a small new discovery outside the main story and combat changes.

The patch addresses several problems affecting naval combat and exploration, including enemies ignoring Edward during boarding, ships spawning incorrectly, assassination issues, and regions failing to update properly after completing activities.

Ubisoft has also fixed missing menu narration and gameplay captions, several color-blindness issues, crashes involving Kenway's Fleet and other menus, and a Steam Deck problem that could produce a black screen when HDR was enabled. Multiple quests are receiving fixes as well.
