Final Fantasy 14 Regalia Mount Returns for Limited Time

Final Fantasy XIV players will soon have another chance to unlock the Regalia Type-G, the four-seat car mount based on Noctis' vehicle from Final Fantasy XV.

Square Enix is bringing back the "A Nocturne for Heroes" crossover from September 24 through October 13. The returning event also includes Noctis-inspired equipment, the Lucian Locks hairstyle, orchestrion rolls, and other rewards from its previous runs.

Characters must reach level 50 with a non-limited job and complete the main scenario quest "The Ultimate Weapon" before starting the crossover.

The event starts with "The Man in Black" by speaking to Kipih Jakkya in Ul'dah - Steps of Nald at X:8.5, Y:9.7. A Nocturne for Heroes consists of three quests following Noctis' arrival in Eorzea.

Square Enix says the 2026 version is the same event previously held in 2019, 2021, and 2024. Players who started an earlier run without finishing it can resume from their existing quest progress.

The Regalia Type-G can seat four players including its driver, enough to transport a full standard light party. It also transforms when used for flying.

Unlike rewards granted directly from the event questline, the Regalia is obtained through the Gold Saucer. Players must complete all three crossover quests before they can purchase the Regalia Type-G Title from the Ironworks Vendor at X:5.3, Y:6.3 for 200,000 MGP.

The same vendor also sells Modern Aesthetics - Lucian Locks for 20,000 MGP and the Noctis Lucis Caelum Triple Triad card for 10,000 MGP. Players who want the Regalia, hairstyle, and card therefore need 230,000 MGP in total. Six Final Fantasy XV orchestrion rolls can also be obtained by exchanging Unidentified Magitek earned from event FATEs.

Players who completed "A Nocturne for Heroes" during an earlier appearance can run through the story again using Seasonal Event Replay.

Replay does not award the event rewards a second time. Activating Seasonal Event Replay temporarily blocks access to related item purchases and exchanges until the replayed quests are completed. If the event ends before players finish the replay, those items will remain unavailable even if the quests were completed during an earlier run.

The crossover runs from September 24 at 1:00 a.m. PDT through October 13 at 7:59 a.m. PDT, giving players a little under three weeks to complete the quests and pick up any returning rewards they still need.
