IShowSpeed Tells Nitro Camden to 'Follow Your Dreams' After Viral Family Clash

IShowSpeed has offered some personal encouragement to Nitro Camden after meeting the young Twitch streamer during his August 24 broadcast.
Speed recognized Camden from the viral livestream involving his mother and immediately told him to "follow your dreams." He also said Camden's situation reminded him of difficulties he faced with his own family when he was trying to build a streaming career.
The two met during IShowSpeed's "Pick Up the Block" $10,000 challenge stream. After realizing who Camden was, Speed stopped to speak with him about the attention surrounding his recent family situation.
Speed told Camden that he had been in a similar position and encouraged him to keep pursuing what he wanted to do. He added that he struggled to watch the viral clip because it brought back memories of his own experience.
Camden became visibly emotional after the encounter with Speed.
The moment was more personal than a typical creator shoutout. Speed has previously said his mother initially did not understand his streaming career and at one point told him he could not continue streaming in her home, leading him to move in with his father rather than quit.
Camden was largely unknown outside his existing audience before StableRonaldo and Marlon raided his Twitch channel with around 15,000 viewers. The stream then drew wider attention after a confrontation with his mother unfolded on camera.
His channel grew rapidly in the days that followed. Camden passed 200,000 Twitch followers, while creators and public figures including Doja Cat publicly showed support for him.
