German Twitch streamer Adam Wolke, known as SkylineTV, has died aged 36. Knossi and Verena Ullrich confirmed his passing on October 20.

German Twitch streamer Adam Wolke, widely known as SkylineTV, has died after suffering a severe brain hemorrhage caused by a ruptured cerebral aneurysm. His death was announced on October 20, 2026, by Jens "Knossi" Knossalla and Verena Ullrich, who shared a joint statement on Instagram.

Wolke was one of the early pioneers of IRL (In Real Life) streaming in Germany. He began broadcasting outdoor experiences in 2013 and later helped produce major livestreams for several prominent German creators. His SkylineTV LIVE channel had attracted more than 260,000 Twitch followers.

Knossalla and Ullrich announced Wolke's passing through an Instagram statement on October 20. The two explained that he had suffered a severe brain hemorrhage following the rupture of a cerebral aneurysm.

"It is with deep sadness that we must inform you that our Adam has sadly passed away," they wrote in a statement translated from German.

The pair also revealed that they had remained with Wolke during his final moments.

"We were by his side until the very end and accompanied him on his final journey," the statement continued.

Knossalla and Ullrich described themselves as deeply shaken by the loss and asked the public to respect the privacy of Wolke's family, relatives and close friends. Wolke's management also confirmed his death to the German Press Agency (dpa). Knossalla and Ullrich did not specify the date of his death in their announcement.

SkylineTV helped pioneer outdoor livestreaming in Germany

Wolke began his streaming career in 2013, when most online creators were still broadcasting from home using conventional gaming setups. Through SkylineTV LIVE, he experimented with mobile broadcasting equipment to stream his experiences from different cities, public events and travel destinations.

His content focused on real-world interactions, spontaneous activities and audience participation. Viewers could follow his journeys live and influence certain activities through the stream's interactive features. This approach helped establish Wolke as an early figure in Germany's IRL streaming scene, years before the format became widely popular on Twitch.

Beyond his own broadcasts, Wolke worked behind the scenes on major streaming productions. His technical expertise helped support livestreams involving well-known German creators, including Knossi, MontanaBlack and Trymacs.

He also appeared in the second edition of Knossi's Big Brother-inspired streaming competition in 2024, which he went on to win. His contributions extended beyond appearing on camera, with his production experience playing an important role in bringing ambitious live entertainment projects to audiences.

Fellow creators and fans pay tribute to SkylineTV

Following the announcement, members of Germany's streaming community shared tributes and memories of Wolke.

Streamer Zarbex became emotional while discussing his death during a livestream. He reflected on their personal connection and the difficulty of losing someone he had worked with.

Fellow creator Max Schradin also addressed the news, expressing his grief and encouraging viewers to respect the family's privacy.

Other creators left messages beneath the Instagram announcement. YouTuber Johny Münster remembered Wolke for his kindness, while German Truck Driver paid tribute to the contribution he had made to the streaming community.

Wolke's influence reached beyond his own Twitch audience. Through more than a decade of outdoor broadcasts and behind-the-scenes production work, he helped develop a form of livestreaming that has since become a major part of online entertainment.
