PlayStation Users Are Seeing New PS Store Wallet Credit Offers
Selected PlayStation Store purchases are now showing Wallet Credit rewards for some users, with at least one buyer receiving $10 immediately after checkout. Sony has not explained who qualifies or whether the promotion will expand.
Some PlayStation users are seeing a new Wallet Credit offer on selected PS Store purchases, with eligible listings displaying an "Includes Wallet Credit" label.
At least one user who received the offer said $10 was added to their PlayStation wallet immediately after completing an eligible purchase.
Sony Interactive Entertainment has not announced a new rewards program or published eligibility rules, so it is not yet clear whether the offers are an early test, a targeted promotion, or part of a wider system planned for later.
Wallet Credit offers are only appearing for some users
The new promotion does not appear to be available across every PlayStation account.
User reports show the Wallet Credit offer appearing on selected digital games, while other players checking the same titles have not received it. The same user said the amount became visible at checkout before $10 was added to their wallet immediately after the purchase.
At least some of the offers include expiration dates, showing that the current promotions are time-limited. Sony has not explained how eligible accounts are chosen, which regions are included, how games qualify, or whether the amount of credit can vary between purchases.
Sony has not linked the offers to PlayStation Stars
The Wallet Credit offers are appearing shortly before the current version of PlayStation Stars officially ends on November 2, 2026.
Sony stopped accepting new members in May 2025, while existing members could continue earning Points, Digital Collectibles, and status benefits until July 23, 2025. Current members can continue redeeming unexpired Points until PlayStation Stars closes on November 2, 2026.
When Sony announced the shutdown, it said it was evaluating what it had learned from PlayStation Stars and looking at ways to evolve its future loyalty efforts.
A separate PlayStation Store listing titled Wallet Credits is also currently live. Published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, the listing remains marked as announced with no release date or explanation of how it is intended to work. Sony has not confirmed whether that listing is connected to the Wallet Credit offers now appearing on individual game purchases.
