Rockstar releases new GTA 6 screenshots alongside Extended Look

Rockstar Games has released another batch of official Grand Theft Auto VI screenshots, showing Jason Duval, Lucia Caminos, supporting characters, clothing, and locations across Leonida. The images arrived around the game's 26-minute Extended Look on August 27, giving players another official look at the world ahead of launch.

The latest batch follows seven images previously supplied through Dazed and expands on Rockstar's existing screenshot library. Together, the new material shows how the studio is increasing its marketing activity for GTA 6 ahead of its November 19 release.

Several screenshots focus on Jason and Lucia in different parts of Leonida, offering clearer views of their clothing, appearance, and surroundings. The images also reinforce Rockstar's focus on the pair's relationship, which remains central to the game's story and the structure of its campaign.

Supporting characters receive additional attention as well. Boobie Ike, Raul Bautista, Bae-Luxe, and Roxy appear among the latest promotional material, adding to the character profiles Rockstar has already published on the official GTA 6 website.

The screenshots also show more of Leonida beyond its main characters. Urban streets, interiors, nightlife, and outdoor environments continue to suggest that Rockstar is building a much broader setting around Vice City rather than limiting the game to a single metropolitan area.

Some of the new images put unusual emphasis on clothing and personal style rather than action. Jason, Lucia, and other characters appear in outfits connected to fictional brands such as Stock 305, Nola, This/That, and Ferruccio Tucci.

The focus matches new details Rockstar has shared about character customization. Clothing will reflect different parts of Leonida's culture, while Jason and Lucia can also change physically depending on eating, exercise, and how players spend their time.

That gives the new screenshots a different purpose from conventional action-focused marketing. They provide a closer look at how Rockstar is using clothing, body detail, and character presentation to make different people and locations within Leonida feel distinct.

The images were released around the same time as Rockstar's Extended Look, which offered the clearest official gameplay presentation so far. Rockstar says the 26-minute showcase was captured entirely from in-game footage running on PlayStation 5.

The presentation showed driving, combat, exploration, character switching, police encounters, and several activities across Leonida. It also provided more context for Jason and Lucia's relationship while introducing more of the people connected to their criminal lives.

Rockstar had already published dozens of screenshots before this latest release, but the pace of new material has increased considerably. New images, interviews, preview coverage, and extended gameplay footage are now giving players a much broader picture of the game than earlier trailers alone provided.

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has not announced a PC release date, leaving consoles as the only confirmed platforms for launch.
