Indian players now have a clear idea of how much they will need to pay to buy GTA 6 when it launches. Pre-orders are live, the editions are listed, and Rockstar’s next game is starting at ₹5,999 in India.
The Standard Edition costs ₹5,999, while the Ultimate Edition is priced at ₹7,499. Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Rockstar Games has still not confirmed a PC version at launch. For now, players who want to be in Leonida on day one will need one of the current console versions.
The Standard Edition includes the full game and the preorder bonuses. This is the version most players will look at first because it gets them into GTA 6 without the higher price of the Ultimate Edition.
Rockstar is also including the Vintage Vice City Pack with early purchases. The pack brings some extra in-game items tied to the game’s Vice City flavor.
The price is still expensive for many players in India, but it is now officially confirmed. That ends months of guessing around whether Rockstar would push GTA 6 even further above normal console pricing.
The Ultimate Edition includes the main game, the preorder bonuses, and the Ultimate Edition Upgrade. The upgrade adds extra vehicles, weapons, outfits, customization items, and other campaign bonuses for Jason and Lucia.
This version costs ₹1,500 more than the Standard Edition. For players who mainly want the story, that jump may be hard to justify right away.
The higher edition will likely appeal most to fans who already know they want the biggest version at launch. Everyone else now has a clear cheaper option.
The India price was one of the biggest questions around GTA 6. The game is easily one of the most anticipated releases of the decade, so many players expected it to sit at the top end of console pricing.
₹5,999 for the Standard Edition does exactly that. It is expensive, but it is also lower than some of the more dramatic price guesses that were floating around before pre-orders opened.
The Ultimate Edition is a tougher choice for most players. At ₹7,499, it asks players to pay more for extras that not everyone will need on day one.
Both editions include the Vintage Vice City Pack for eligible early buyers. That helps because the basic preorder reward is not locked behind the Ultimate Edition.
The offer also includes one month of GTA+ with preorder. Players will need to check the platform terms before claiming it, especially because subscription offers usually come with account and redemption rules.
For Indian buyers, this keeps the preorder choice fairly clean. The Standard Edition gives the full game and the early bonus, while the Ultimate Edition is mainly about extra digital content.
The biggest thing still missing is the online plan. Rockstar has confirmed the launch editions and pricing, but the long-term online side of GTA 6 still needs a clearer reveal.
GTA Online helped keep GTA 5 alive for years, and players will want to know what kind of online future Rockstar is building before paying full premium pricing for the next game.
