Street Fighter 6 x Star Detective Precure Collab Starts December 17

Street Fighter 6 is teaming up with Star Detective Precure! for a new collaboration beginning December 17, bringing an original four-part story to the Battle Hub.

The crossover was announced on September 20 and will follow the Precure characters as they investigate an incident inside the Battle Hub. Toei Animation describes the collaboration as an adventure game-style story, with familiar Street Fighter 6 characters also appearing alongside the Precure cast.

The collaboration is built around an original story set inside the Battle Hub, the online space where Street Fighter 6 players can meet, compete, and access different activities.

Luke, Jamie, Kimberly, and other Street Fighter 6 characters will appear during the four-part story, although Toei Animation has not yet detailed their exact roles in the Battle Hub investigation.

The story will unfold across four episodes, although the companies have not yet announced the release schedule for each part. The announcement also makes clear that the crossover exists inside Street Fighter 6. It is not being incorporated into the main Star Detective Precure! television series.

For the collaboration, the Street Fighter 6 characters have been redrawn in the visual style of Star Detective Precure!, giving them a different look from their usual in-game designs.

Capcom illustrator Tamio has also created separate promotional artwork showing characters from both series taking part in the investigation together. That illustration will appear on promotional flyers distributed through Precure Pretty Stores, Capcom Stores, and selected events in Japan.

The four-part story will not be the only content added through the crossover. Toei Animation says multiple avatar items and other additions are planned, with more information to be announced later.

For now, Capcom and Toei have confirmed the four-part Battle Hub story, crossover character appearances, and upcoming avatar items. Further details about the items and episode release schedule have not yet been announced.
