Capcom has given Street Fighter 6 players their first proper look at Arjun in battle, revealing a heavy fighter whose pressure does not stop when an opponent blocks.
Arjun joins the roster on October 13 as the second Year 4 character. Arjun lacks speed but makes up for it with powerful strikes, projectiles, traps, and counters, while recoverable damage sits at the center of his game plan.

Several of Arjun's special moves deal recoverable damage, often called gray life, when blocked. That health can return if the opponent avoids taking another hit, but a clean attack removes the recoverable portion along with the damage from the new strike.
Arjun can build that pressure through different parts of his moveset rather than relying on one attack. Arm of Justice gives him a winding punch, while Cruel Shoulder lets him drive forward with a tackle. Breathing Ring can also add gray life from farther away after Arjun turns it into a projectile with Breathing Shockwave.
Blocking may stop the immediate hit, but the accumulated recoverable damage can leave a large part of the health bar vulnerable once Arjun finds an opening.
His command grab, Ghastly Interrogation, plays directly into that idea. It normally deals recoverable damage, but switches to normal damage if the opponent already has gray life.

Arjun can raise a stone spire from the ground with Divine Pillar, choosing its distance and delaying when it appears by holding the input.
The trap gives him a way to pressure opponents as they get back to their feet or restrict where they can safely move. Only one pillar can remain active, and it disappears if Arjun is hit.
Cruel Shoulder gains another use while a pillar is present. The combination triggers Justice Beyond, with Arjun grabbing the spire and swinging it toward his opponent. Both Divine Pillar and the follow-up can add recoverable damage when blocked.
Indomitable Defense lets Arjun enter a defensive state and move while waiting for an attack. Striking him during the stance triggers a counter that deals recoverable damage, while projectiles can be absorbed without activating the same counterattack.
He can also attack directly from the stance with Moral Breakdown, which deals normal damage on hit and recoverable damage when blocked.
Arjun was previously introduced as a former police officer in India who was framed after the murder of his partner. He follows Yasmine in Street Fighter 6 Year 4, with Tifa from Final Fantasy VII and Bosch still to come.
