Resident Evil Requiem Drops to $48.99 in Steam Autumn Sale

October 6, 2026·3 min read

Resident Evil Requiem has dropped to $48.99 during Steam’s Autumn Sale, while several modern Resident Evil remakes and older entries are available for under $10.

Steam's 2026 Autumn Sale has brought sizeable discounts to much of the Resident Evil series, including a 30% cut for this year's Resident Evil Requiem and some of the lowest-priced ways to pick up Capcom's modern remakes.

The sale runs until October 8 at 10 a.m. Pacific. On the US Steam store, Resident Evil Requiem is down to $48.99, while Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 cost $7.99 each and Resident Evil 4 is $9.99. Prices vary by region.

Resident Evil Requiem has dropped from $69.99 to $48.99, while its Deluxe Edition is down from $79.99 to $55.99. Both discounts are scheduled to end alongside the Autumn Sale on October 8.

The newer game's smaller percentage reduction stands apart from the much deeper cuts on Capcom's catalog, but it comes during a particularly strong year for the series. Capcom announced in September that Requiem had reached eight million worldwide sales faster than any previous Resident Evil game.

Players who want to try it first can also download the free Resident Evil Requiem demo from Steam.

The steepest individual discounts apply to the older remakes. Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 are both 80% off at $7.99, while Resident Evil 4 is 75% off at $9.99. Buying those three standard editions separately comes to $25.97 before tax on the US store.

There are also bundles worth checking before buying the games individually. The $11.99 Raccoon City Edition includes Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, and Resident Evil Resistance. Steam's Resident Evil Remake Trilogy costs $29.39 and combines all three remakes with additional content, including Resident Evil 4: Separate Ways.

Players primarily interested in Resident Evil 4 can get its Gold Edition for $14.99 instead of the $9.99 standard release. The Gold Edition includes the base game and Separate Ways along with additional DLC.

Resident Evil 7 and Village are also below $10

The sale makes the Ethan Winters games another inexpensive route into the series. Resident Evil 7 biohazard is 60% off at $7.99, while Resident Evil Village has dropped 75% to $9.99.

Their expanded editions are discounted as well. Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, which includes the Winters' Expansion and Trauma Pack, costs $14.99. Steam is also offering a bundle containing the Gold Editions of both Resident Evil 7 and Village for $19.79.

Players looking further back can pick up Resident Evil HD Remaster for $4.99, a 75% reduction from its usual $19.99 price. The Deluxe Origins Bundle, containing Resident Evil and Resident Evil 0 plus additional content for the latter, is $9.99.

Steam's Autumn Sale ends October 8 at 10 a.m. Pacific.
