Game Changers Americas LCQ Field Set for October 14

MIBR, FlyQuest RED, and Akave Esports are set to compete in the 2026 VALORANT Game Changers Americas Last Chance Qualifier, which will decide the region's final place at the Game Changers Championship.

The three-team LAN will take place at Riot Games Arena São Paulo on October 14 and 15. MIBR will represent Brazil, FlyQuest RED will represent North America, and Akave will represent Latin America before the Championship begins at the same venue on October 22.

The Americas LCQ brings together the second seeds from the three Game Changers circuits covering Brazil, North America, and Latin America.

Those teams will arrive in São Paulo after missing their region's direct route to the Championship, giving each one another opportunity to qualify through the combined Americas event. FlyQuest RED takes North America's LCQ place under Riot's qualification rule, which awards the spot to the team with the second-highest Game Changers Championship Circuit Points that did not win Stage 2.

The structure continues the qualification system Riot introduced in 2025, when the Americas were allocated four Championship places. The winners of the Brazilian, Latin American, and North American circuits earned three of those spots, while the first Americas LCQ decided the fourth.

Competition begins on October 14 with all three teams playing a round-robin stage. The top two teams will then advance to the October 15 final, which will be played as a best-of-five. The winner earns the final Americas place at the Game Changers Championship.

Both days will take place in front of a live audience at Riot Games Arena São Paulo. Riot announced ticket prices of R$120 for standard admission and R$60 for eligible half-price tickets, with a limit of four tickets per person for each day.

The 2026 event closely follows the structure of last year's inaugural Americas LCQ, which also brought representatives from Brazil, Latin America, and North America to São Paulo for a three-team round robin followed by a best-of-five final.

The LCQ winner will have one week before returning to the same arena for the Game Changers Championship. Game Changers Championship 2026 begins at Riot Games Arena São Paulo on October 22 and runs through November 1, bringing together 10 qualified teams for the final international tournament of the season.

São Paulo is hosting the Championship after the 2025 edition took place in Seoul, where Team Liquid defeated Shopify Rebellion Gold in the final. The move means the Americas LCQ winner will qualify without needing to travel to another country or venue before the Championship begins.
