Forza Horizon 5 is an open-world racing game developed by Playground Games and set across a fictionalized version of Mexico. Players explore a large map filled with cities, jungles, deserts, beaches and mountains while taking part in races, challenges and seasonal events. The game features hundreds of licensed cars that can be collected, upgraded, tuned and customized. Events cover everything from road racing and dirt tracks to cross-country competitions, stunt challenges and showcase events. Progression is built around the Horizon Festival, with new activities and regions unlocking as players earn accolades. The world can be explored solo or alongside other players, with online races, cooperative events and shared open-world activities available throughout the map.
