Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a first-person shooter developed by Infinity Ward and the direct sequel to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The campaign follows several soldiers as Task Force 141 hunts ultranationalist Vladimir Makarov while a wider conflict erupts between Russia and the United States. Missions move between locations including Afghanistan, Brazil, Russia and Washington, D.C., combining close-quarters firefights with vehicle sequences, stealth sections and large cinematic set pieces. Multiplayer expands the series’ progression system with customizable killstreak rewards, perks, weapon attachments and challenges. The game also introduces Special Ops, a separate cooperative mode containing short missions focused on combat, stealth, survival and timed objectives that can be played alone or with another player.
