The Elder Scrolls Online

The Elder Scrolls Online is a massively multiplayer online RPG set in Tamriel roughly 1,000 years before the events of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Players create their own character and explore a large shared world filled with quests, settlements, dungeons, ruins, and characters drawn from across Elder Scrolls lore. Progression is built around gaining levels, improving attributes, unlocking skills, and collecting equipment. Weapons, armor, class abilities, and other skill lines can be combined to build characters for melee combat, ranged attacks, magic, healing, or defensive roles. Players can explore and complete much of the game at their own pace. Alongside solo questing and exploration, players can join groups for instanced dungeons and other cooperative PvE activities. Crafting covers disciplines including Blacksmithing, Clothing, Woodworking, Alchemy, Enchanting, Provisioning, and Jewelry Crafting. PvP includes dueling, Battlegrounds, and the Alliance War in Cyrodiil, where three alliances compete over keeps, resources, and territory. Guilds, trading, achievements, collectibles, and character progression provide additional activities throughout Tamriel.
