Destiny Says Asmongold Leaving Twitch Would Be 'Hasan's Dream'

Destiny has weighed in on Asmongold potentially leaving Twitch after his recent 14-day suspension, joking that the move would be "Hasan's dream."

Asmongold raised the possibility during an August 22 stream while discussing what he might do if Twitch suspends him again. He has not announced plans to leave the platform, but said another ban could make him consider dropping Twitch and focusing his streams elsewhere.

Asmongold said he did not believe his recent comments deserved a suspension and does not want to keep changing how he speaks simply to avoid another enforcement action.

If another ban happens, he said he may stop streaming on Twitch and focus on other platforms instead. He mentioned Kick, Rumble, and YouTube while discussing his options, although he already multistreams on Kick and Rumble.

He also made clear that leaving Twitch would not be an easy decision. Asmongold said he has streamed there for around 10 years and remains attached to the platform, even as the latest suspension has forced him to think more seriously about other options.

His comments were about what could happen after another suspension rather than a confirmed platform move.

Destiny reacted to the possibility later on August 22 and focused on what Asmongold's departure could mean for Hasan Piker.

"As much as he is a terrible influence," Destiny said before describing the idea of Asmongold leaving as "Hasan's dream."

He suggested Hasan could end up with "sole reign" on Twitch if Asmongold was no longer streaming there.
