Lies of P Complete Edition Physical Release Is Now Available on Switch 2

The physical version of Lies of P: Complete Edition is now available for Nintendo Switch 2, almost two months after the game made its Nintendo debut digitally. The standard physical edition launched on October 2, with Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, and Walmart among the retailers carrying it.

The release is notable for using a cartridge rather than a Game-Key Card. iam8bit describes the package as containing the entire Lies of P experience, including the base game and Lies of P: Overture, alongside six collectible Boss Lore Cards.

Lies of P: Complete Edition combines the original campaign with Overture, the prequel expansion that explores Krat before the Puppet Frenzy. It also incorporates the game's post-launch quality-of-life updates, additional difficulty settings, and challenge modes rather than presenting the 2023 launch version unchanged.

iam8bit also lists bonus cosmetic content including the Mischievous Puppet's Clothes and the Prince of Krat Cosmetics Pack. Six physical lore cards based on characters and bosses are included with the cartridge edition. Nintendo lists the digital Complete Edition at $69.99 in the US, giving buyers a useful reference point when comparing physical retailer prices.

The Switch 2 version has received platform-specific improvements since its digital launch. An August update expanded handheld graphics settings from two options to three, adding a Performance-centered mode that supports frame rates of up to 60 FPS. The previous Performance-centered setting was renamed Balanced, while a separate Quality-centered option remains available.

Neowiz also fixed an issue that caused the Quality-centered handheld setting to run at a lower internal resolution than intended. TV Mode players gained an option to disable motion blur in the same update.

Nintendo's store listing confirms support for handheld, tabletop, and TV play, along with HDR on compatible televisions and Save Data Cloud. The game is single-player only.

The digital version requires roughly 37 GB of storage depending on region. Nintendo's UK listing gives a 36.8 GB download size, while other regional listings are slightly different. The physical product page does not specify whether owners will need an additional download of a particular size, so buyers should not assume the cartridge eliminates all storage or update requirements.

Alongside the standard retail release, iam8bit produced an exclusive $69.99 edition. It contains the same Complete Edition cartridge, Overture, and six Boss Lore Cards, but adds an exclusive outer sleeve featuring artwork from Neowiz. The cartridge is region-free and compatible with Switch 2 systems worldwide.

The iam8bit-exclusive edition is currently listed as sold out and is scheduled to ship in Q4 2026. The standard Retail Edition launched separately on October 2 through major retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, and Walmart.

Lies of P: Complete Edition originally launched digitally for Switch 2 in August. The October physical release now gives players who prefer boxed games a cartridge option containing the base game and Overture, while retaining the additional modes and Switch 2-specific improvements introduced for the Nintendo version.
