Red Bull League of Its Own 2026 Heads to Barcelona
Red Bull League of Its Own returns on December 5 at Olímpic Arena Badalona, with T1, G2 Esports, Karmine Corp, and Movistar KOI confirmed. Match formats and broadcast details are still to be announced.
Red Bull League of Its Own will return on December 5, 2026, bringing its annual League of Legends invitational to the Barcelona area for the first time.
The one-day event will take place at Olímpic Arena Badalona, with T1, G2 Esports, Karmine Corp, and Movistar KOI confirmed for the lineup. Tickets are already available, while Red Bull has yet to reveal the match schedule, competitive format, or livestream details.
This will be the fourth League of Its Own since the showmatch series began in 2023, continuing Red Bull's format of bringing T1 together with major European organizations outside Riot Games' regular competitive calendar.
T1 returns alongside three current LEC teams
T1 will again headline League of Its Own, continuing a run that has seen the South Korean organization appear at every edition of the event.
G2 Esports and Karmine Corp are also familiar names at League of Its Own. Both competed at the inaugural Berlin event in 2023, returned for Paris in 2024, and were part of the 2025 lineup in Munich.
Movistar KOI completes the Barcelona field. The Spanish organization currently competes alongside G2 and Karmine Corp in the LEC, giving the 2026 invitational three teams from Europe's top League of Legends competition alongside T1.
The move to Spain also gives Movistar KOI another major event in front of its domestic audience. Riot Games has increasingly worked with the organization on live LEC events in Spain, including its LEC Roadtrip initiative.
Barcelona becomes the event's fourth European stop
League of Its Own has moved between European cities since beginning at Berlin's Velodrom in 2023. Paris hosted the second edition in 2024, followed by Munich's SAP Garden in 2025.
The 2026 event now moves to the Barcelona area, with Olímpic Arena Badalona hosting the fourth edition on December 5.
The 2026 showmatch format is still under wraps
League of Its Own differs from a conventional tournament because its format can change between matches and editions. Red Bull has not yet announced the individual matchups or detailed competitive format for the four-team field.
Broadcast plans are also still unannounced. Red Bull currently lists livestream details as TBC, while tickets for the December 5 event are already available.
