Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is a first-person shooter set in 2035, co-developed by Treyarch and Raven Software. The story follows David Mason and an elite JSOC team as they investigate a new threat in the Mediterranean city of Avalon, where psychological warfare and the return of Raul Menendez pull them into a conflict shaped by events from Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 6. The game features three main modes. Its cooperative campaign can be played solo or with up to four players, with shared progression carrying into other modes. Multiplayer includes 6v6 maps and larger 20v20 Skirmish battles, alongside an expanded Omnimovement system that introduces wall jumps. Loadouts use Combat Specialties, including new hybrid combinations, while the Overclock system lets players upgrade equipment, Field Upgrades and Scorestreaks. Weapon Prestige also returns with additional progression rewards. Round-Based Zombies continues the Dark Aether storyline, bringing together the Black Ops 6 crew with alternate versions of Richtofen, Nikolai, Takeo and Dempsey. Across all three modes, Black Ops 7 combines fast gunplay, connected progression and near-future technology with the series' familiar mix of covert operations and psychological intrigue.
