BC.Game benches electroNic in latest CS2 roster change

BC.Game has moved Denis "electroNic" Sharipov to the bench as the organization continues reshaping its Counter-Strike 2 roster ahead of the PGL Singapore Major qualification deadline. The move ends electroNic's 11-month spell in the active lineup after he joined BC.Game in October 2025.

The organization has since signed Australian rifler Tyson "asap" Paterson as his replacement. The new starting five consists of Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev, Emil "Magisk" Reif, Azbayar "Senzu" Munkhbold, Ayush "mzinho" Batbold and asap.

BC.Game CEO Ali Muhanned told HLTV that the approaching PGL Singapore Major deadline affected the timing of the decision. He said electroNic remained an important member of the team and indicated that the rifler would have been given more time if the Major qualification deadline were further away.

The Valve Regional Standings on November 2 will determine which teams receive invitations to the Singapore Major. BC.Game was 36th in the European standings with 1,191 points when electroNic was benched, leaving the team well outside Europe's 18 qualification positions. That gave the organization limited time to improve its standing before Valve locks the invitation list.

Signing asap also changes the regional standings through which BC.Game can qualify. The Australian joins Mongolian players Senzu and mzinho, giving the roster three players who allow it to be classified as an Asian VRS core.

HLTV reported that BC.Game's 1,191 points would have placed the team fourth in the Asian standings at the time of the change. Five teams from Asia are set to receive invitations to the PGL Singapore Major.

The move therefore places BC.Game in a stronger qualification position than its previous European ranking offered. That place is not guaranteed, however, as results from BC.Game and competing teams can still change the standings before the November 2 cutoff.

BC.Game signed electroNic from Virtus.pro's bench in October 2025, reuniting him with former Natus Vincere teammate s1mple. The pair previously spent several years together at NAVI and won PGL Major Stockholm 2021 alongside several other international titles.

The organization continued changing its roster during 2026, bringing in Senzu, Magisk and mzinho before winning Elisa Esports Breakout Series 1 in August. Despite that result, BC.Game remained outside the European Major qualification positions. electroNic recorded a 0.99 HLTV Rating 3.0 across 21 maps during his final three months in the active lineup.

asap arrives from THUNDER dOWNUNDER after recording a 1.28 HLTV Rating 3.0 across 30 maps over the previous three months. His signing completes BC.Game's new starting five, while Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas remains the team's coach.

The PGL Singapore Major will run from November 24 to December 13. BC.Game now has until the November 2 VRS cutoff to secure its place, while electroNic remains under contract on the organization's bench.
