Gearbox has fully revealed Loveless the Hacker, Borderlands 4's newest playable Vault Hunter, ahead of a major September 10 content drop that also includes FL4K and the Last Resort, Bounty Pack 5, and Version 1.10.
Loveless arrives as paid DLC with three Action Skills built around hacking, cybernetics, elemental damage, and her digital companion Wyrm. The same day will also bring new story content featuring returning Borderlands 3 characters FL4K and Amara, while a free level cap increase will apply to all Borderlands 4 players.

Loveless is an ex-Anshin hacker turned assassin who shares her consciousness with Wyrm, a digital virus she created that can take physical form during combat. Her playstyle centers on keeping pressure on enemies through Critical Hits and Status Effects. Those actions fill Loveless' RAM meter.
Once the bar is full, her next melee attack becomes an Empowered strike that consumes all stored RAM for increased damage.
Plague Star throws a large shuriken that deals Corrosive damage and spreads Contagion between enemies. Visual Paradox Nexus increases movement speed and Critical Hit damage, with kills briefly putting Loveless into Stealth and creating a Clone.
Malignant Construct takes a different approach by summoning Wyrm directly into battle. Summoning Wyrm gives Loveless Symbiosis stacks, with additional stacks gained when Wyrm kills enemies or through certain passive abilities.

Story Pack 2, FL4K and the Last Resort, brings back FL4K from Borderlands 3, although the Beastmaster returns as part of the story rather than as another playable Vault Hunter. The expansion takes players to Providence, a tropical island where Tediore is attempting to secure a resource called Ordonite.
The expansion takes players to Providence, a tropical island where Tediore is attempting to secure a resource called Ordonite. FL4K is searching for their missing skag companion Mr. Chew, placing the Vault Hunters against Lieutenant Harmony and five elite Tediore managers.

Bounty Pack 5, Amara and the Vile Shadows, shifts attention to Amara as instability linked to Elpis begins affecting Kairos. Amara traces the disturbances to one of Vile Lictor's former laboratories, taking players back to Elpis and the Phase dimension while expanding the story surrounding Sirens.
Amara traces the disturbances to one of Vile Lictor's former laboratories, taking players back to Elpis and the Phase dimension while expanding the story surrounding Sirens. The pack includes a repeatable mission, a new boss, two minibosses, and additional Vile enemy types.
The island's active volcano also affects exploration. Ordonite-infused molten rocks can fall across Providence, with some impacts triggering miniboss encounters.
The paid DLC will launch alongside Version 1.10, which increases the maximum level cap by 10 levels for all Borderlands 4 players. The update will also include balance adjustments for the existing Vault Hunters.
Players do not need to buy Loveless, Story Pack 2, or Bounty Pack 5 to receive the level cap increase.
