Lucy From Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Is Coming to Fortnite

Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is coming to Fortnite, with CD Projekt revealing the netrunner as the first confirmed character Outfit from the anime's upcoming crossover.

The collaboration will also bring Rebecca's Guns into Battle Royale as a usable weapon during Chapter 7 Season 4: Override. Epic Games had already confirmed that Edgerunners would appear during the season, but Lucy's reveal is the first clear look at how one of its main characters will join the game.

The official Cyberpunk: Edgerunners account revealed Lucy through a teaser tied to Override's hacking theme, presenting the netrunner as someone who had managed to break through Fortnite's security.

The teaser footage showed Lucy inside the game, confirming that she will appear as an Outfit rather than being represented only through themed equipment or another cosmetic item.

Lucy is one of the central characters in Edgerunners and one of its most prominent netrunners, which fits naturally with a season built around hacking systems and manipulating matches through Cheat Codes and Override Consoles. Neither Epic Games nor CD Projekt has announced when the Outfit will enter the Item Shop. Its price and any additional cosmetics included alongside Lucy also remain unconfirmed.

Rebecca is being represented differently in the crossover. Epic Games previously announced Rebecca's Guns as one of the special weapons planned for Override, meaning players will be able to use equipment inspired by the Edgerunners character during Battle Royale matches.

The item is based on Rebecca's firearms from the anime, although Epic has not yet published its complete gameplay statistics. Details circulating through datamines should therefore not be treated as final until the weapon appears in official update notes or becomes available in-game.

That gives the collaboration two distinct parts. Lucy is joining Fortnite as a cosmetic character, while Rebecca's presence is currently tied to an item that can affect matches directly.

Epic has not confirmed a Rebecca Outfit.

The wider crossover was first confirmed when Epic detailed Chapter 7 Season 4 in August. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was included among the outside properties scheduled to appear throughout Override, with Rebecca's Guns named at the time as one of the additions still to come later in the season.

Lucy's reveal now gives that previously announced collaboration a confirmed character Outfit and a clearer identity beyond the weapon teased at the start of the season.

There is still no announced release date for either Lucy or Rebecca's Guns, so both remain upcoming additions rather than content currently available in Fortnite.
